Creating an Account on GGLeagues

Every player who will be competing in an upcoming season with GGLeagues will need to have an account with us. In order to create an account, you will need to head to https://app.ggleagues.com/signup in order to register.

Please note that if you are signing up multiple players, each player will need to have their own account and separate email addresses. 

Username field: this field is unique to your profile on the GGLeagues website. This can be any username you would like as long as it adheres to our code of conduct. Please do not include any personal or sensitive information in this username as this is public on our website. 

Date of Birth: please make sure to input the date of birth of the player that will be competing in GGLeagues. If the player is under the age of 13, a parent or guardian will need to verify that the player is allowed to be on the GGLeagues platform and can compete.

Registering for a single player league

If you are registering for a single player league, you will need to complete the following steps:

1. Create an account on GGLeagues platform: www.ggleagues.com/signup
2. Register directly for the league.

Registering for a team based league

Create a Team

You can join a team by going to the Create a Team page. From there you can:

1. Give your team a name
2. Upload your team's logo
3. Create your team!

After creating your team, you can send your friends an invite link from one of your teams found in the My Teams page.

You can also tell players to request to join your team by searching for your team name in Teams Search page.

If someone has requested to join, and you would like to add them to your team, start by going to the My Teams page. From there:

1. Click the team you need to accept the invite for
2. Click the "Edit Roster" button (NOTE: This is only available to the captain of a team. Only team captains can accept new players onto a team)
3. Scroll to the "Pending Invites" section at the bottom of the page
4. Accept or Reject the requests to join

Join a Team

You can join a team by going to the Teams Search page. From there you can:

1. Search for a team by name
2. Request to join the team once you've found it
3. Wait for your request to be approved by the team captain

Registering for a league using a sponsor code

If you have paid through a park district, city, or other recreation agency for an upcoming GGLeagues event. You will need a sponsor code which is provided from the community you registered with. Please reach out to your community for the sponsor code or email [e-mail].
